A photographic tour of the most relevant churches of the city of Buenos Aires and environs as far as Lujan's basilica, La Plata's cathedral and the small church of Glew where Raul Soldi's frescos are to be seen. The pictures are complemented with Gustavo Brandariz's text; he is an architect who specializes in the history of his trade. It contains brief accounts of the history of the city's churches, influences which acted upon them through time and immigration, and the origin of sometimes curious donations made by families, temples which serve particular communities or which have been witness to, or refuges from, important events.
